GMA to change the constitution?

President Arroyo plans to revise the 1987 constitution but she said these plans could take in to effect after 2010 when she leaves the position. This annoucement is believed by political analysts to deflect the bribary scandals that have hit the presidential administration.



The president’s husband last week was allegated to be involved in a scandal involving the multi-million dollar ZTE Broadband deal. Also, an official of the the KAMPI polical party was fired because of alleged bribes to the presidential opposition.

Said by executive director of the Institute for Political and Electoral Reforms, Ramon Casiple,

It’s more of the talk than the walk.

    GMA HAS LOSE THE MORAL ASCENDANCY TO GOVERN…SHE SHOULD RESIGN AND DON’T ATTEMPT TO CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION FOR HER OWN BENEFITS ..

    GMA WILL TRY TO CHANGE THE CIONSTITUTION THROUGH HER ALLIES(THE TONGRESSMAN) SO THAT IT WILL SHIELD HER FROM POSSIBLE LIABILITY WHEN HER TERM WILL EXPIRE
