Once you’ve gathered the needed information and weighed what you’ve discovered when choosing what business is right for you, I urge you to settle upon one single business to pursue when you are starting up. We think it’s an error to diffuse your efforts by trying to start up several businesses at once, Instead, we urge you to focus your energy on one undertaking. This will greatly maximize your chances for success.
Focusing on only one business will enable you to be sure that the message you deliver to other people about what you do in your business is clear. We know too well the glazed look that comes across people’s faces when they hear someone go into describing three or more things he or she can do for them.
In this Globalizing and flatenning 21st century, people want to trust their business to experts; they want to do business with people who are specialists. And few people will believe that you can be an expert in multiple fields. There is rarely enough time to do all that needs to be done in one business in the Philippines, let alone in multiple businesses. So select the one business you want to pursue and develop a plan for how you will proceed.
