2008 Olympics Attack to Americans by a Chinese
Posted on August 8th, 2008
Here is the post event video recording newscast by Associated Press about an American who was stabbed by a Chinese in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. The victim is a relative of a coach of the 2008 Olympics US Volleyball Team. Two couples were with a tour guide at the 2nd floor of the 13th-century Drum Tower when suddenly a man sprung and stabbed the three and jumped off 130 feet from the ground. The Chinese assailant was a 47 year old man from Hangzhou and later was identified as Tang Yongming by a Xinhua News Agency official. Of course, he was dead on impact as no one would ever survive a 130 fall drop. The most interesting part is that if in case the incident was motivated by racial prejudices, how would Tang Yongming identify his victims as Americans. The names of the the victims was not disclosed but as reported by SFGate, the other 2 will surely survive.
