New Jollibee Stores in Los Angeles

Jollibee Foods Corp. announced their newly opened stores in the United States.This fastfood giant recently opened 3 more stores in the US. These newly opened stores are located in Los Angeles, California as it will strengthen its presence in the said country.

Jollibee store in Puente Hills Mall at the City of Industry was first to open last August, followed by South Bay Pavilion in Carson City opened last September and the third store which is located at Chino Town Spectrum in Chino City, was opened just this month.

Outlets in Southbay Pavilion and Chino Town also offer products from Red Ribbon while both Red Ribbon and Chowking products in the Puente Hills Malls.

Ernesto Tanmantiong, Jollibee president said, “Succeess in the Philippines can only mean one thing, new challenges are about to be faced -conquering other markets and exceeding global standards. We are positive that we can make this happen.”



The first Jollibee store abroad was in Taiwan opened in 1986. Two years later, its first US store in Daly City California and today, there are 20 Jollibee outlets in the US catering mostly to Filipino communities.

“Our groundwork for conquering the US market begins in California and the presence of a significant number of Filipino families will ensure a market for its stores.”

Hispanic, a significant minority race in the US is the target market of Jollibee US aside from the Filipinos there. Its store in Panorama City at Panorama Mall where catering 90% Hispanics.

Besides California, Jollibee has an outlet in Las Vegas, Nevada and it will continue to spread as it will open its store in Queens, New York. Jollibee has other branches aside from the US among these are; Brunei, Hongkong, Vietnam and Saipan.

Four more Jollibee branches are set to open in the US. These outlets are located in Moreno Valley Mall and Great Mall Milpitas which will open in November and Westfield Plaza West Covina in December 2008.
