American call centers in the Philippines are not really affected by the global financial crisis. In fact, they are more likely to stay than fold up for the reason that it is a part of the Obama’s program to shore up business in the US.

Call Center Financial Crisis

As economists say, good call center industry helps with jobs in America as well for the reason that it is because of the services provided that grow the businesses. A good example was this; if you bought a product and are dealing with a service center in the Philippines you get good service and you say I might buy another one of their products, so you actually create jobs by having these good call centers.

American businesses particularly BPOs will continue to provide services to their respective customers and will get customers because of their service. BPOs or Call centers have proved really effective at that. Also, the BPO industry will keep on going strong, as the Filipino employees are tremendous, overwhelmed with talents and are natural customer representatives.

Moreover, the relationship between the Philippines and the United States will be possible even stronger under Obama’s reign due to the fact that Obama is a “fan of the Southeast Asia.”

The US president elect has a very global personality, having said in his acceptance speech that he wants to “reach out to our friends across the globe.”

Under Barack Obama’s presidency, surely, the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry will remain as the top employer here in the Philippines and will provide more jobs to the Filipinos and contribute to the development of the country. Also, it can make the bond between the US and the Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines much stronger. In return, this BPO industry can also contribute to the revenues of the United States.
