Posted on January 12th, 2009
This is a heads up to fellow Filipino bloggers out there, this goes to other bloggers as well. Be warned, be informed and be alarmed.
Shoemoney.com has just posted a buzz on his blog about the latest and biggest affiliate money scam on the internet today – the Google Money Tree.
And why is he alarmed? Because the perpetrators of the scam which he said is the Hydra Network or one their affiliates is using his picture showing proof of his income. Shoe came to know of this because of various messages he received from different social networks, and snapshots of web pages where his picture was shown.
I’ll say that if such picture was used without permission from the owner and with the aim of convincing people to believe that they can earn huge amount of money through their system, is indeed a proof of one acting in bad faith.
The picture is being shown as a promotion for the scam on big sites such huffingtonpost.com, foxnews.com and espn.com! Just show you how big a scam this one can get to be.
Just try searching for Google Money Tree scam and you’ll see lots of posts discussing this. So let this be a warning to all of us.
By the way, Shoemoney.com is asking everyone who may have seen his picture in such promotions, to please send him a snapshot of the website where they have seen it.
