I remember that after reading Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad series years ago, I immediately peeked at the opportunity in playing Cashflow 101 and Cashflow 202 and I did. Then I realized that to achieve financial independence everyone willing must have their own personal budget. I used to have a yearly, monthly, weekly and even a daily budget. I got all the data using Microsoft Excel, encoding all my expenses and creating categories for gas, food, leisure, etc. This is the method I used to replicate the income statement from Cashflow 101 and 202 where a list of all my expenses are categorized and added up. I even have a graph of all my expenses where the equations have thresholds whether I need to stop reaping the fruits of some of my passive income. This excel sheet made it easy for me to track my personal finance until I realized that I’d like to share it to all my friends.

It was really hard that time because most of my friends aren’t really good with Excel. So I browsed the internet and found this tool for my personal finance and investments which make personal finance easy to understand especially to non computer whiz people like my friends. There is also a part of their program where you can simulate financial scenarios and make you compare their outcome. Quite intriguing eh! Just try it. It’s awesome.
