It has been 2 years since my first time to write my first post from blogging and I noticed that the two year actually made some harmful effects to my eyes. Last week, I went to our family doctor to ask for my eye situation but instead, I was referred to an ophthalmologist or an eye doctor. I then was diagnosed to have hyperopia which is also known as farsightedness wherein my eyeball is too short and the lens cannot become round enough. This condition gives me the difficulty on looking at near objects such as my computer screen.

I was then asked to wear glasses and my eye doctor prescribe an eye glass with a thinner lens or glasses with higher indexes. He gave me a website: High-indexed Prescription Eyeglasses——CARE your eyes. , where I can browse through different glasses and found out that they send out glasses in the mail. The doctor gave me the prescription and I just ordered it through the website.

One nice feature I used in the site is the Virtual Try-On— where you can emulate how you’ll look wearing the glasses. They even have a portion where you can track your order.

When I return back to the Philippines I will try to start a business like this making eye glass sales cheaper because all purchases from this kind of business are from the internet minimizing additional costs.
