SEAIR increased number of flights to Boracay

The Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR), the only airline flying to Boracay direct via Caticlan at present, is reopening its routes for Caticlan – Cebu and vice versa. Flights are scheduled every Friday, Sunday and Wednesday.

Together with the reopening of the said routes, SEAIR also announced that it will increase in flights to Caticlan to up to 32 day, from its present schedule of 27 flights a day. This will take effect on October 15, 2009. The country’ premier leisure airline boasts of three Dornier 328 and six LET L-410, which are both capable of Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL).

Boracay has been one of the most celebrated tropical beaches in the world, with tourist from all over the globe flocking in to this lovely island paradise which is popular for its 4-kilometer stretch of powdery white sand and pristine crystal-clear waters. SEAIR also offers the fastest flights to Boracay which is just 35 minutes.

SEAIR is the country’s second-oldest airline. It has already flown approximately 3 million passengers to various local destinations like Puerto Princesa, El Nido, Tablas, Clark, Jolo, Zamboanga, and Tawi-Tawi. SEAIR also offers flights from Boracay to Puerto Princesa and flies four times weekly to Basco, Batanes during the Batanes summer, which is June to August.
