Naming stars

Wouldn’t it be nice if you can name all the stars in the sky? But wouldn’t it be better if you can name a star like you would name your own child? Yes, just christening a star and giving it a name. Wouldn’t it be cool? Or you can make it a special gift to your love one by naming a star after him or her. I’m sure, he/she would be thrilled.
Are you thrilled by the idea? What if you knew that there is a star registry book wherein you can list your love one’s name which you have assigned to a particular star? That would your special gift perfect, one that will be remembered and appreciated for the longest time.
Well, you can a website, the Ptolemy Stars and see their international star registry of stars and their assigned names, and where you can also register yours – your love one’s very own star. Do not think that it is quite ridiculous, for all you know, she might find it romantic and that you would go as far as naming a star to express your love for her. After all, it is not everyday that a woman gets a star named after her. It would really make a thoughtful present.
