Diverse music

What I like about music is the diversity. You can’t be a fan of just one genre, somehow, even you are soft, ballad, and crooning music lover you will find that you may also find yourself singing to some heavy songs like Limp Bizkit Gold Cobra and other rock and even heavy metal songs.
Because such is the beauty of music. It is the diversity that makes appealing to many people. It is poetry in rhythm. And speaking of poetry, I just read the lyrics of Foster The People Helena Beat and I can say it is one very poetic song. A song where one talks about the journey he has been through – the ups and downs, and even the boring ones. It just shows that life is not just one boring journey, there is diversity. There are different flavors. Such is music.
And then, there are songs that aim to inspire like Lenny Kravitz Stand where the singer sings about going on, moving ahead and not giving up. Because life being a journey, we would often encounter humps and bumps, but that should not stop us. We should always continue, in spite of the different trials we encounter. We may slow down, but we should never stop.
Don’t you just love the diverse music and the different messages it brings.
